FACILITIES FOR HIRE

Worthing College is situated in 18 acres of parkland campus, just off the A24 and A27. The campus features a range of venues for hire, including a large exhibition hall, various meeting rooms and outdoor hard courts.

Commercial spaces

Worthing College is in a large seaside town in West Sussex, known for its award-winning beaches and pier, with easy access to the stunning landscape of the South Downs. The College is situated just 10 miles from Brighton and 18 miles from Chichester. As it is located just off the A24 and the A27, traveling to our 18-acre parkland campus is easy.

Exhibition Hall

Our large exhibition hall measures approximately 15 x 23 metres and has seating capacity for up to 250 people. There is a projector / whiteboard available, various seating options, including theatre style or classroom style depending upon your requirements.

West Café

A large and well equipped café is available for hire. It is ideal for parties and other social occasions. Catering facilities are available, tables, chairs and outside patio areas. We can offer caterers if required, please contact us for more details.

Sealight Theatre

Lovely concert venue with raked seating and a Yamaha 5’5” grand piano. Measuring 13 x 12 metres, it has staggered seating for 98 people, all of which fold into the wall to provide more space to rehearse. There is a stage, (stage blocks are available which can be used to build sets/podiums where required), curtains across mirrored wall and a sound system that can run from CD’s, MP3 devices, laptops or phones. We also have a small whiteboard and a large flat screen television with DVD player.

Learning Zones & MEETING ROOMS

Our learning and meeting rooms provide flexible spaces for various needs. The open-plan learning zones offer a relaxed atmosphere with settees, tables, and chairs, while our meeting rooms cater to different styles, including boardroom, conference, and training events. Projector and IT facilities are available upon request.

Sanditon Conference Centre

Our new Conference Centre, which opened in November 2014, offers a range of facilities to suit your every need. It is an ideal venue for exhibitions, conferences, meetings, interviews, training sessions, parties and wedding receptions. Our aim is to work with you on an individual basis to create a unique event, working within your budget to achieve an affordable and successful event or occasion.

Netball Hard Courts

Our hard courts can accommodate netball or tennis and are floodlit to accommodate evening bookings. We also have a rugby pitch next to our hard courts available to hire.

Music Rooms

We have a fantastic large music room with piano, ideal for choir or band rehearsals.  Also available is a suite of four practice rooms, which could be used for music lessons. All of these rooms are equipped with pianos but other instruments will need to be provided by the hirer. Computers and whiteboards can also be made available if required.

Classrooms

We have workstations available in IT rooms and tables and chairs available in general classrooms. There are whiteboard facilities, projectors and IT equipment available. Our classrooms can be laid out in exam style or traditional style.
